November 11th, 2004. This was the day that Alex had open heart surgery, at just 3 1/2 months old.
Scariest day of my life.
Thankfully, it went well, and the repair is "perfect", according to his cardiologist. We will be forever grateful to the skilled surgeon who fixed Al's heart.
Happy Heart Day, buddy. Ten years! How fast the time has gone...
